Great review of a great tablet. I have a iPad Mini 6 that I love the size of but not the OS. I've had the TabS6 since 2019 and with each new version, I haven't found a reason to trade up yet. I wish the keyboard cover was better but that's my only complaint.

Here's my take on the great Galaxy tab s6: it's a great tablet. I'm writing on it for this comment but the only reason not to buy it's because it stop getting os and security firmware update. Other than that you'll be happy with it's 4 speakers OLED screen and still to this day its processor just to name a few

I just got an update for this tab. I was wondering how long are they going to support it for. I love this tablet. It sucks that compared to tab s8 this tab will get fewer major OS updates. I love this tablet and it is serving me well.

Excellent, professional review with lots of detailed specs on processing power. Majority of reviewers just read what we already know from the back of the box. Many thanks

Tremendous value from the Tab S6 I bought to fly my drone. It might be harder to justify if bought now and going forward since it's likely gotten it's last OS upgrade already (with Android 12/OneUI 4.1.1). But it's been perhaps the best loved device I own since bought refurbished/new open box two years ago this week. The 11" S9 again has AMOLED equivalent and could be its replacement today if I wasn't thinking of replacing my laptop completely for everything, including editing 4K video. Tab S6 will sort of do this with LumaFusion, but M1/M2 iPads have DaVinci Resolve and FCP now.

In Germany they are 300+€ used, about $350+ - I would buy one for the US-pricing, else it is too expensive.

I'm still using the s6 which my dad bought 4 years ago and gave it to me few years later, it's great for animation and digital art and even in gaming it's pretty great even if it kinda jugs. Minecraft java runs in 230 fps and 30 -40 fps with shaders. Also the original spen broke and screen has some problems with Pen pressure. Its still is a great device as of now

I recently got the tab S9 plus for my birthday but i still absolutely love the S6. In all honesty while the S9 is definitely better if it's not 900$ better. I have to agree with you about the S6 being one of the best value for money android tablets that gig can currently get, even in 2024 it's still amazing.

tab s6 i got in 2019 is still running great, and i have used it a LOT, like i have often used it with an auto clicker to afk games all day & night. it runs cool with consistent performance, the 855 is efficient. there is very stable performance, i can game for hours and it doesn't throttle. runs roblox, mech arena, and sky cotl well. great speakers. the display bothered me when i first got it due to the low PWM frequency and refresh rate but i got used to it for the most part, that is the main downside for me. overall, im very happy with my choice to buy the tab s6, it's been a great tablet that has had rock solid reliable performance. i have been looking at 2021/2022 ipad pros with the IPS panels that have no PWM, thinking eventually they might be a good replacement that is easier on the eyes, but i don't have any apple devices and am generally not a fan of apple.. i do enjoy my s23 ultra. but for a tablet i spend a lot of time gaming on, i might consider an ipad for the non PWM displays... i would really like a samsung tablet with snapdragon 8 gen 2, using an IPS, non PWM display. or an oled without PWM, DC dimming.

Wish I could find one to replace my S3. Can't get over the need for a AMOLED screen and don't want a large tablet.

I love my Galaxy Tab S6. But after viewing 4 hours of YouTube videos, my tablet is down to about 39% battery remaining. is this normal? Or do I have a battery that is on the way out? If you own a Galaxy Tab S6, what is your normal battery life remaining after 4 hours of continuous YouTube use? I hope someone will read this who knows tablets and give me a good answer.

can you divide the screen to 3 or 4 parts? (3-4 different apps on screen?)
