New vs Old BMW X2 Comparison Review!
Before we get to that detail, it must be said that the X2 has grown in size compared to the model it replaces. The length now measures 4,554 mm (+194 mm), the width has increased by 1,845 mm (+21), and the height is 1,590 mm (+64 mm).
Depending on the version ordered, the trunk has a loading volume between 560 and 1,470 liters.
From an aesthetic point of view, we have a front with LED headlights and an almost hexagonal grille (optional, illuminated outline). Matrix LED headlights are optional. The roof is plunged at the rear, resulting in a coupe look.
The taillights have a new design and either 2 tailpipes for the exhaust system or 4 in the case of the X2 M35i xDrive have been fitted to the end of the air diffuser.

COMPLETELY NEW DESIGN

For added sportiness, the M Sport or M Sport Pro package can be selected. The latter adds high-gloss M Shadowline exterior trim, M Shadowline lights, M rear spoiler and M Sport brake system with red calipers .
PREMIUM INTERIOR
The interior of the new BMW X2 is almost identical to that of the X1. So we have the curved assembly that integrates the digital instrument panel and the display of the 9th generation BMW multimedia system. The seats are specially developed for the X2 and can also be upholstered in Vernasca leather.
Dual-zone automatic climate control, BMW Maps navigation system and leather-wrapped Sport steering wheel are standard. Harman Kardon audio system and panoramic glass sunroof are optional.
The entry into the new generation BMW X2 range is made with the sDrive20i version: 1.5-liter mild-hybrid 48V gasoline engine with 170 HP . Then we have the sDrive18d diesel version , with its 150 horsepower .
The sportiest version is, of course, the X2 M35i xDrive. It offers a 2.0 liter engine, 300 HP , 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, specific M chassis and adaptive M suspension.
The new generation BMW X2 will be launched on the market in March 2024. In Romania, the Bavarian model will start at 43,911 euros. For the X2 M35i you will have to pay at least 59,322 euros, and for the electric version 55,513 euros.
