Good talk and excellent framing for some old psych experiments. However I think the message of "people aren't bad, situations are" doesn't always apply. Perhaps a methodology of "tit for tat" where you start by trusting the person, then do unto them what they do unto you would be a better solution.

Problem is you have to start each new interaction by trusting (which means no stereotyping) and if the person does later turn good you have to be good to them again. Complicated.
