It sounds silly but I have so many memories tied to this game, I started playing as a freshman in high school, I downloaded it because it was free and I thought it looked cool. I eventually got into Ninja and Myth and all those guys, binged fortnite videos, played with friends from my school.. I even bonded with a girl I really liked through playing this game together so much, it didn’t end well but I still have so many fond memories.. man those were the days. I’m about to graduate from high school in a few weeks and move onto the next chapter of my life, but if there is one game that will forever represent my high school years it’s this game, through all the hate and frustration it gets, I will always hold this game close to my heart.

it's just because you've gotten sop good at the game that you can win whenever you want. back in the day it was a hug accomplishment. for me it still is and I get very excited every time I win

When you are a good player and get a ton of wins a day, it gets old. Like I can barely get a win a season and it feels good to win. But when you constantly win you need something new to do.

I logged on fortnite for the this time this in like 5-6 months and tear fell from my eyes, this is the game I spent my childhood on and back then it was the best thing ever, just playing with the boys getting dubs, staying up late, spending every penny on the game, having no connection to anything else. I wish I could go back and relive my childhood

It was. But look on the bright side. Better graphics, and exciting wins. But I miss the OG days as much as you do.
