A lot of people online want to praise Anne for her natural looks but I think she’s looked very “pulled” (almost like you can see underlying threads) in her recent glow up/come back

Its ironic that their jobs require them to be as expressive yet they faces are frozen and stiff. No wonder I enjoy old shows where people looked human like the rest of us despite being a gen z myself 🤷🏻‍♀️

To be honest, these are different types of crying. I don't doubt Botox, but also this isn't a perfect comparison

This is one thing I like of British actors and actress, most of them do not touch their faces. Helen Mirren, Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightly, Maggie smith, Imelda Staunton. Men: Ewan McGregor, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Michael Cain, Gary Oldman, Kenneth Brannah… there is a respect for the craft and be able to emote and represent the age you are

😢 Always so disappointing when your favorite actors physically can't show their acting prowess anymore. I don't see crying. I just see creepy face 😅

I find it so distracting to see celebrities on screens who have had work done. They could be oscar worthy roles, but if their face is too cosmetically enhanced, i immediately can't take them seriously and lose interest in the project

Dr Gary, could you make a video about frownies? Thanks for considering!

She looked beautiful back then and she still looks great now. But it has undeniably affected her range of movement.

This isn't a fair comparison. In one scene, she's crying with sadness but in the one with botox, she's crying tears of happiness which doesn't require the use of forehead muscles very often. She probably has it, it's just not a fair comparison.

both characters cry faces are also very different. i don’t think she could have done the screaming crying scene as well at 41. both scenes required very dramatically different facial complexities. in regards to the more recent cry scene, i feel like the botox didn’t take away too much from it. she still appeared very natural. smile crying and screaming crying at 2 different looks

I prefer a full rinkle face but with expresion than just tears

While I don't agree with the use of botox at all (when it comes to using it for anti aging), given the side effects and everything, I'm especially opposed to actors doing it. How the hell is anyone supposed to believe the emotions an actor portrays, if they can hardly emote?

have you seen the studies about how botox impacts your emotional connection to others

This is the problem with Nicole Kidman. Her acting feels wooden now.

I could easily misunderstand the emotion if the brow doesn't move.

Soo is there a way to get filler without losing your expression ability?
I have a deep crease in my forehead, but it's small, that I wanna correct. But i dont wanna lose my ability to move my eyebrows

She is expressing totally different emotions in these clips. In the second clip, she is smiling; in the first she is not. I am not claiming she hasn't had botox, but this is not a true comparison.
