I was born and raced in socialist Czechoslovakia and I have had a great childhood and education. Everyone had job everyone have had place to live and there was massive solidarity between people. Unfortunately it is all gone and people who do remember these times are sorry. I know so I can compare. And if I could return back in time I definitely would. Only those who never experienced socialism are critical of it. Excellent as always Caleb. Please keep rolling!

This is not just American. Christmas in general. Odinism is great and I dont appreciate you disparaging it. I disagree that America is odinist. Its far to materialistic to be spiritual in any way.

Chrstmas is Saturnalia with a ton of local customs bolted onto it. End. Of. Queen Victoria and her German husband brought the fir tree to Britain and the Anglo Saxons gave us English Wodens Day i.e. Wednesday. God knows what Odinism is in the modern context.

Growing up around the attitudes of social darwinism, the might makes right moral relativity of western chauvinist culture, it's understandable that in rejecting capitalism, this same bravado is discarded as well. It's important not to conflate attitudes of malignant patriarchal aggression of Odinism with optimism, will and fortitude. The so called "Millennial Berniecrats" you talk about are in essence, still liberals, they have yet to embrace a fully revolutionary mindset, still held back either by the comfort of the status quo or by misinformation in regards to radical socialist ideology. I would say most of the comrades out there fighting against colonialism, capitalism and imperialism have a great deal of zealotry and enthusiasm for what is they do.

interesting talk Caleb. I don't think Odinist Religion is "exclusive" among ancient religion. many Ancient religion tend to behave the same, like: heavy punctuation in Ritual, Romanticizing war, God and Kings, Honorable Death, ect.
