Here's our essential camping gear items when we go car camping as family with kids.Camping is something that I grew up doing as a child. Many of my best memories are from my parents taking our family to some amazing places to camp. Having the right gear for camping as a family makes sure that everyone has a good experience and wants to go out again.
Below are some links to the gear items you see here in this video and other items we use as a family:

The video is very informative. I would also like to see how you pack all these stuff in your car .

That campsite looks way better than a super cramped Jellystone LOL!

I love how organized the inside of your tent is. I’ve got to show this to my kids! 😁

I am going camping at lake superior with my family (wife, dog and infant). I realized my solo gear doesnt apply and went out and had to buy all new stuff. 10 grand later and I think Im ready to go. Sure adds up fast but hopefully the next trip is about 1% of the price. If they dont like camping Im getting a new family. I actually made my own first aid kit and it was the equivalent of the highest end mymedic kit but instead of 800 bucks I did it for under 300. I got the coleman queen cot/air mattress, an 8 person tent, the jetboil genesis with gsi escappe frypan+ pot, collapisble kettle, collapisble pot, gsi folding cheese grateer, spatula, and tongs. A bluetti 2000w solar setup with 200w panel, thermoelectric 50qt cooler, mr buddy heater, foldable chairs and table. Patagonia sweaters and merino layers for all, baby sleeping bag and dog sleeping bag, infant life jacket, CO monitor, gerber mini cleaver, 2x bear mace, inreach mini2 gps, life straw, new water filter system, down blanket, wool blanket, tarp system, heavy duty stakes, medic kit, dish set, 2x hiking shoes, crocs, tenacious tape, bug nets, travel condiment bottles, 4x different types of nikwax products, 2x types of woolite, camp soap, hard cargo trunk, vortex baseball hat, pack and play black out cover and mosquito net, 2x yeti cups, candle lamp butane attachement, portable fire pit. I think there are probably 20 other things I forgot in that list as well.

Great gear! I can't believe all the camp items we bring for car camping. Our family camping trip this past weekend was a big success. Every had a great time and the blueberry cobbler I made in the Dutch oven turned out great.

Way more clean and organized than my car camping set up! But with the kids and the doggy, you've gotta have it dialed down! Hopefully my car camping set up will be as nice as yours one day haha

This is a great video brother. Thanks for sharing. I am always trying to figure out what gear I get for family camps vs my backpacking trips. I think I have both set, so my new gear focus is on family backpacking. Getting expensive, but I have to give up on trying to take gear out of the family camping boxes and use it for backpacking. You keep it simple and I needed to see that. Thanks for sharing.

Cool 😎 now I don't feel crazy for the house size tent we have 😆 That fire pit is legit gonna have to give that serious thought. Also dig the zippered kitchen utensils set and roll up table, going on the list. Thanks for vid, good stuff ✌️😎 Happy Trails

Thanks for the video. Nice job! As a solo camper with a Corgi, I got a 4-person Copper Canyon. But the roominess of your looks pretty inviting. Nothing wrong with space...!

What if it rains? No awning for the cooking area? Stand in the rain? : ) Genuinely curious as I've been holding off buying a separate awning but feel like it would be nice...
