HTTP 402, the missing HTTP status code - Julien Genestoux

When Tim Berners Lee and crew wrote the HTTP Spec, they knew it needed a "payment required" status. They called it 402... and, well, nothing happened.

For that reason, we got served an internet of ads, data leaks and bad incentives. Web3 provides us with a unique opportunity to solve that and we'll see how protocols like Unlock can bring memberships to a whole new level!
