I love Linux Mint. Daily driver for some years now and recently installed it (Mate version) onto my fathers laptop which was getting too slow on Windows. I think it's great they roll out the same quality updates over the 3 main flavors and not just the Cinnamon flagship. Can't imagine the effort that involves.

Great review Jack! I actually had the same experience like you when I reinstalled Mint a couple of months ago. Originally started with Linux on it, but moved on to WM's, Arch, Debian Testing etc. But the revisit made me almost jump ship again. Great UX, UI for me also good. And a lot of latest software as a flatpak. Good stuff!

I don't see many changes from 21.0. All good stuff though. I love this distro. Made it easy to convert from Windows a month ago for me.

Excellent video. Holy geez-a-roonie does that desktop look nice! You knew I was reinstalling cinnamon on arch again, didn’t you? I found the camera you installed. 😲 Haha, I actually was putting the final touches on the install of cinnamon (on arch of course). Great minds and all that. They did a bang up job with the look and feel. I was gobsmacked and sucker punched.

Well, my goodness, you had a spring in your step in this video. Looked a lot more lively and back to being a silly sausage. I guess that’s better than being a half dead bitter bacon! It’s amazing what a laxative can do. Yeah, I’ll see myself out. 🤣

Love this vid, a great overview. I’m a mint fan. This release is smashing. I normally add clipboard manager CopyQ, add it to startup apps, and set its key binding to Ctl v. I sometimes wish that came as default, that would be just so like icing.

Every client i have that has tied Linux Mint has loved it. There were 3 people who had me reinstall windows. Most people could not believe how fast and intuitive Mint is!

Mint wouldn't boot with Nvidia drivers with my 3080. Moved to Pop_OS, it just works.

😂 you mean Linux 6.0.11 I'm running arch linux-zen it seems much more friendly to updates
