The deeper you dive, the more I realize how much of a casual I am when it comes to Linux. Thanks for this review Jack, I really like the polished and functional look of the interface. Really tempted to install now!

I love Linux mint even in beta it’s stable

Flavors off Ubuntu but with Linux mint no problem at all

Thanks Jack. It’s an incredibly good distro (even the mrs can use it). I find it functional and easy. I have it running on her pc as a dual boot system.

Not sure whether I'm going to upgrade to Linux Mint 21, from 20.3, or go to a different distro, especially since I'm liking how KDE Plasma is nowadays. A good video though, without any snap "drama" :-)

To browse your mixed home network, you must still hack the smb.conf file.

The wobbly windows snippet is inoperable. Even with the NVIDIA drivers installed, I experienced the same tearing. I immediately removed it.

Heyyy Jack! New subscriber here. Really enjoyed your fun videos. I'm a new Linux user. I'm using Ubuntu. Which distro would you recommend to me?

Also which distribution do you like the most amd use as your daily driver personally?

Thanks for the video. As a good "computer illiterate", I love my Linux Mint for its simplicity and efficiency. But I prefer to stay on the latest LTS version, which although it has the same problem with the views in the panel, it is not important for me... By the way, upgrade Inkscape to 1.2, pretty, beautiful 😊

I sometimes wounder how these guys get paid and afford to deliver a free OS. Plus sir you deserve more subscribers and recognition on YouTube.

I understand why so many complain about win 11 it just blocks everything! Including using a virtual machine! . The new wifi6 Linux developers need to work way harder! Not one laptop works any more on wifi! And most all laptops have no eithernet port ! The common person who is not use to fixing will just give up and go back to windows, Ubuntu should get the picture! Microsoft is not their friend!!!!

4K Is a mess in this version!!, pls test everything before recommending something. Don't peoples have 4K monitors? And stop testing in Virtual Machine's!! install the dm thing on a real hardware!!
I'm sorry but more and more reviews are making it harder for free software to mature. Because most "testers" only test a simple instance of the system which is the same ( VM's)
1080p is old!! 4K is almost a decade old and still not a single Linux Desktop handles 4K good enough, there's always some issue with them.

And because there's little attention to real issues, reviews are always positive. And when you try to do real work you run into issues nobody talks about. Let's help the Linux community and be more serious about Linux Versions. Real tests instead quick review in VM's. Too easy!
