I think we are in serious need of a TailsTube video guest-starring Silver and Blaze to make sense of the Sol Dimension, Silver's future, and why Eggman Nega can just casually exist as both Eggman's descendant and his alternate universe counterpart.

The lore manager for the series confirms that this isn't a complete comprehensive timeline. Just because a game isn't mentioned doesn't mean it isn't Canon. Though there's a specific reason why the rivals games aren't included, It's s because those games weren't released in Japan

This is a headcanon that the4thsnake came up with for his A Line Through Time episode on Sonic but I like it. Sonic Chronicles comes directly before the events of Sonic Unleashed as Chronicles ends with Super Sonic heading off to deal with the Eggman Empire and leads into the opening of Unleashed with Super Sonic and the Egg Carrier This headcanon came because the releases of Chronicles and Unleashed were coincidentally similar to Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces which led directly into each other from Classic Sonic's perspective

You are aware that the Tornado appeared in Sonic Pocket Adventure, Sonic Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Chronicles (though let's ignore that one for the same reason you plopped it into an alternate timeline), Sonic Lost World, Sonic Speed Simulator (let's ignore that one too because Roblox), and Sonic Frontiers

It appearing in Sonic Advance doesn't automatically mean it's a prequel to Sonic Adventure, as Tails has clearly just... rebuilt it. Heck, the end screen for Tails's story even shows him with the Tornado, implying he fixed it after the end of the game.

I tried revising my interpretation of the timeline, but burnout hit me fast. I'd mostly keep it the same as an earlier attempt until IDW, BUT I also decided to include elaborations.

1. I can't believe that other timeline didn't include Black Knight.
2. I'm not sure there's a way to incorporate the Sonic Advance games without it being super messy.

4:24 I've my own interpretation of Blaze's situation.

Picture this; the Sol Empire doesn't have a typical monarchy. Instead, they elect the Guardian of the Sol Emeralds, marked by the Power of Flame, kinda similar to the Avatar, minus the reincarnation.

After the most recent Guardian's death, they seek out the next and find an ostracized Blaze in an otherwise unremarkable village.

Cut to the end of Sonic Rush, Burning Blaze believes herself to have returned home. However, the Will of the Sol Emeralds have sent her elsewhere. She finds the oceans boiling, and fire ravaging the world.

Realizing this isn't the Sol Dimension, Blaze concludes this is a THIRD dimension, having no idea that this is the Future of Sonic's world.

Blaze meets Silver who's on the defensive in a battle with Iblis. Burning Blaze fights the monster and seemingly wins, only for the Sol Emeralds to be taken from her by Iblis. The flames of disaster can't use the emeralds, but it being an embodiment of fire means it can attract them.

Without the Sol Emeralds, Blaze is stranded in this "Third" dimension, and doesn't realize the truth until she and Silver find the Blue Chaos Emerald.

And what about the 8-bit games, the Saturn games, Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic Spinball, Sonic the Fighters and the SegaSonic arcade where Mighty and Ray debuted in? Where do they fit?

Actually, the 8-bit games (even though they’re spinoffs) they do have story involvement.

As a matter of fact, Sonic Drift Duo DO have a story, its just very small.
Also, SegaSonic takes place between R and Mania, stop saying otherwise, okay? I personally think Advance takes place right before Advance 2. TMOSTH is not canon, confirmed by Evan Stanley and Ian Flynn. For The rest I agree with you

Is anyone gonna talk about Sonic Prime?

My question is, Where would Sonic Generations take place for the Classic era?

There’s only two changes I’d make, make Blaze a part of Sonic’s world cause you really have to go through loops in order for her to be part of the story cause she’s tied to another dimension, and somehow I’d find a way to introduce the Freedom Fighters

No Sonic Riders is the time skip of the Sonic The Hedgehog story
