Homemade Honey-Vanilla Ice Cream

Combine four natural ingredients for a homemade ice cream that's as delicious as it is easy to make. Better yet, no sugar crash.

You can thank us later, but you'll be too busy eating scoops of honey-vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups half and half, room temperature*
- 1/2 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl and whisk together. Once mixed, pour into a container with a lid and set in the freezer for two hours until solid.

Pull out of freezer and scoop into a food processor. Purée until creamy. This will help break down ice crystals that form. Return to freezer and allow to reset for 2 more hours. Top with Nature Nate’s 100% Pure Honey.

Servings: 4 cups (but really 1 serving if you like ice cream as much as we do)

It needed about 12 hours to be completely solid. After blending, it came out so nicely creamy and all ice crystals are gone. This is great. Thanks. Next step is to make pistachio ice cream.

I poured the ingredients into a pot and heated it just a little and then added the honey so it melted into the concoction. That was a lot easier than mixing the honey cold since that takes forever. And it tastes great...at least before putting it in the freezer.
