Its funny how at the end he says "you could hear a pin drop". I guess the artist never really fully understands the impact those songs had on us. They spend time creating each little part and playing it over and over again until they're probably sick of it. For most us we heard the album in our late teens or early 20's, before the family/career/divorce/job transfer/what have you. We hear the music later and we're transported back to another time and place when things were less complicated...and its a good place.

That. Was. Amazing- note for note like the studio version.  Solid drummer.  Love that slinky Hofner bassline.  Brought tears to my eyes to see the guys- wrinkles, grey hair and all- pumping out a rock-solid rendition of a song they must've performed hundreds of times, to a still-adoring crowd all these years later.  Brings back a lot of memories and made this 40-something feel a little better today about being 40-something.
