Earth's Ancient Pyramids

Pyramid…. When someone hears that word, it is likely that an image of the Great Pyramid of Giza comes to mind. This is the classic design that has become ubiquitous in our modern society. However, when it comes to this type of structure, there are many different varieties found around our planet. For most of mainstream academia, the collection of all the pyramids around the world is nothing more than evidence of humankind’s division into separate cultures. But not all academics agree with this theory.

Temples from Bagan (one of the unesco world heritage sites located in Myanmar formerly known as Burma) should be include in this list. Dhamma-Yan-Gyi temple is pretty much resample pyramid structure.
