I watched your video yesterday and immediately did what you demonstrated. This morning I did some of the movements before getting out of bed. My pain decreased by 80% since yesterday morning. I continue doing the stretches this morning. Every time I get up to walk it continues to improve. Thank you so much. I’m an active 57 year old woman, weight lifting five days a week and I do martial arts. I have a black belt test in two weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Because my casual flat shoes ripped I had begun using my soft elevated heel sneakers. I've had this exact morning pain out of seemingly nowhere and my knee pain flared up which I knew was from the sneakers. I've been meaning to buy some flat ones and this video makes it an absolute priority.
Edit: A while ago I got my flat shoes repaired and a lot of my knee pain went away immediately.

this video helped me. i tried everything, heavily cushioned shoes, heel cups, etc but this made my heel pain go away. extensor streches and flat sole shoes is the cure. thank you squat university! i am very grateful!

I have been suffering from pain in my foot and no amount of stretching or massaging has alleviated the pain. I'm glad that I know what it is now and I will do these stretches. Thank you for the video. I stumbled upon this randomly.

I have gone through a few treatments for my heel which cost a lot. I wish I had watched you video before going through that. I tried rolling my foot on a ball and stretching the foot and OMG I can walk without limping. I realize it will take a while to be 100% but I am very encouraged by the video. Thank you!

This advice may be correct for some demographics, but from my experience and many others that i have talked to, stretching the foot and calf muscle fixes it. If you wake up with tight calf muscle and tightness at bottom of foot, stand flat footed a little away from the wall and lean forward to stretch. Then do other stretches of the foot and legs including the good foot stretch and supposedly useless one in this video. Do this before sleeping and after, and all day long. For my condition which i had for over a year, stretching helped almost immediately and has completely solved it for years.

This man is leaps ahead of the medical field. Can confirm that stretch is the only thing to release my plantar fascia pain when driving for extended periods, i do it intuitively when driving and get an ache, but i will now add it to my daily stretch regime, thankyou.

Oh dear, I just realised what causes my plantar faciitis, it's the additional heal- cushions that I used. I've been doing my morning walk for years, but the pain just started last year. When I bought those cushions.

I’m on my third year with PF. Finally threw away the bloody expensive orthotics, my beloved Docs and extra wide new balance and I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes and toe spacers consistently for 2 months. Ive only ever gone barefoot at home so transitioning wasn’t bad. Left foot is completely pain free, both knees and lower back are pain free now, but my right foot is still experiencing PF. I’m in it for the long haul though.
