NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER Review

Today is the launch of the new NVIDIA GTX 1660 SUPER graphics cards and we've got cards from Palit, MSI and Zotac to see how 3 AIB cards perform given their various price points. Testing at 1080p, 1440p and also 4K. The question is though, what makes the 1660 SUPER so super, considering its specs are very similar to the original GTX 1660? Let's find out!

I got the Zotac with the intention of sizing down because a larger rig just takes up too much space. It’s probably as much performance as I would want, and it was pretty decently priced. The form factor is perfect for an itx build and the cooler works well enough to not cause me problems. I’m sure I could fit a bigger and better card in my case but, idk what that would mean for airflow, and I wanted to keep the cost down.

I just bought Palit GTX 1660 super, here Philippines @ $265 includes tax and shipping, old micro-ATX will fits, Max temp 73, isn't that noise at all, my cpu fans and exhaust are noise...
The plastic backplate cover will keep dust free, compare to other 2... I really like to get msi but the issue is the size and price around $356 here... so close to rtx 2060...

Since only 2-8frame different with msi I dont mind that as long i play arround 60fps and up.

I played Assetto corsa 2014 and competizione 2018 1080p @ ave 96fps with epic/max setting that ps4 or xbox can't handle...

First I worried because my motherboard is old intel dh67bl 2011 i72600k, pcie 2 only with 24gb ddr3 ram... and I was surprised because the FPS is the same with the other youtuber with latest PC specs... Im planing to upgrade the ram until 32gb, because i see a video that larger ram increase fps than 16gb only... I really like the white light in this card too with the Logo last GTX model lol...

I got Zotac amp at 26k with a case at 4k (my previous case was an oven). I could have gotten msi Gaming x with 29k but I wouldn't have the money to buy the case. Did i make the right decision?

Would go for the Amp version of Zotac 1660 super, its like $10-15 more than normal 1660 super, but Amp edition is totally worth it!

Zotac 1660 super twin fan, it's the only VGA for Mini ITX with 178mm, using a dual fan. that's really good

Great video, all the reviews only show the fps avg (and obviously they are the same) but this is the only show temp and noise. So, the msi is the best of all? I see lowest temp and noise. I dont understand so much because i dont speak in english

Nvidia GPUs overclock really well unlike AMD, I would definitely upgrade from my Rx 570 over this one.

I had a gt 730 in my first pc for 3 years, im super happy, because i bought a zotac 1660 super, i put it in my pc already, but my psu hasnt arrived yet. I mainly play fortnite, so the 1660 super will be a huge boost for me! ❤
