I bought this card for my budget gaming pc, paired with i3 9100f and 16 gigs DDR4 2400 RAM it plays all games in 1080p with 60 - 75fps, some older titles even in 1440p

Update: I've upgraded my PC to an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 paired with 32 gigs of ddr4 3200 RAM on the good old Asus B450M-KII motherboard, still utilizing the GTX 1660 Super - the cpu and ram upgrade helps a lot, especially on more demanding, newer titles (Diablo IV, Resident Evil 4 Remake) and even older cpu intensive games like Assassins Creed Origins - I guess the i3 9100f quadcore cpu did not cut it anymore

I have this exact GPU. I also have the i5 10400F with 16 GB memory. I might not have the best gaming PC in the world, but i am super happy with the overall performance of my PC. It can run any game with no lag whatsoever.

I bought a 1660 Super prebuilt from NZXT during the scalper crisis.
It might be a ripoff, but personally, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
This card and I have been through a lot, and it's served me well.
As a 1660 Super owner, I feel pride seeing this video.

Nice review, the 1660 Super is still a great card. I think the GTX 1070 is very good too at around the same price. If you are buying new then it's best to go with the RX 6600 as that's the only new budget GPU that's a great performer without sacrificing features like hardware encoding etc. I hope Nvidia release a new budget card soon but they just seem to have totally ignored the budget market for the last two to three years.

This is a great GPU at 1080p! Absolutely smashes games. I have the MSI 1660 Super Ventus OC and the Gigabyte Windforce. They both play the same, the gigabyte being a 3 fan is about 7 Celsius cooler.
Couple this GPU with a 2700x CPU and it will nail all SIM games at 1080p on ultra settings. ATS, ETS, Transport Fever 2, Train SIM 3, very underrated GPU. I paid £240 for the MSI, worth every penny.

I got it 2 years ago in my pre-build. Still runs like a charm. Counterstrike 2, Battlefield 2042, and it seems that it's going to be able to run Cities Skylines 2 on release, we'll see though.

I have it for a few years now, I have to admit for the money it's been a great card. Reminds me of the old Radeon 6850HD. Very good performance to power and cost ratios.
Don't get me wrong, I wish I could afford a new system with a raytracing card, but for what it is, it's a fine card to have.
Cool video.

I’ve been using this gpu with many titles new and old, I have it paired with Ryzen 5 1600, 24Ram and 3TB. I just got this set up a week ago, so far it’s been amazing.

My friend needed a new pc and I offered to help him. Got him a 1660ti for $150. Not a 1660 super, but the point still stands that the 1600 series are budget kings.

As someone who has 1660, it's an alright card, but with 6600 new going for 200$, i wouldn't buy 1660 for more then a 100-120$ tops

Most things I use it for it handles really well. It lags out really bad on ARK ascended if you go past high on the settings.

Should i get a 2nd hand GTX 1660s for around $150 or should i save $60 more for a 2nd hand rx 6600 instead?
just a heads up for why im saying this pricing cuz this is a different country and not US pricing and just converted a rough estimate pricing so dont blame me for this prices in our country here in the philippines and buying new is not an option for me here.

well, it depends on your point of view. to me, the gpu crisis isnt over. the cards are still over msrp in germany while they already should be under it. by this point in time, a rtx 3070, should be down to 400-450 €, yet the cheapest is 577 and its only a 2 fan card. iam currently running a gtx 1080, which i bought for 512€ in 2017. the thing is a 1080, doesnt really scale well at 1440p. even older games, cant handle ultra setting at 1440p on that card with stable 60 fps. and modern games like cyberpunk? 1440p, low, 40 fps. granted, pascal doenst perfom well in cp77, maybe the game wasnt optimzed for that, but that shows me: when it comes to the future in 1440p, that card is no safety net

I have bought this card over a year ago, running with an i5 7400 and 16GB memory, safe to say this GPU is carrying me so much
