Good points, but there are a couple of caveats: Crop-sensor and micro four-thirds DSLR cameras tend to be considerably more compact than full-frame DSLRs, and many mirrorless cameras are far bulkier than the one you display. Thanks for the succinct discussion of this topic.

I viewed this after one and half year. Now things are different. Nowadays, manufacturers are focusing mirrorless. In future, after 6 to 8 years from now, mirror less may replace DSLR. Mirror less have now greater autofocus, many focusing algorithms are developed, like eye focus continuous, bird tracking etc. Only negative is battery one, which will improve better in future, as I expect. Thanks for making this video. Soon, I hope, you will teach mirror less camera functions in future.

I see on your shelf near the storm trooper you have a Kodak Instamatic 126. It reminded me of my mom because she had one for quite a long time. I liked to borrow it frequently. The images came out very clear and I liked the square format. On the subject of mirrorless cameras....I bought an Olympus from a pawn shop and it's an awesome camera. The images require very little editing.

I purchased a Canon M100 Mirrorless camera, for the purpose of it being compact but powerful for a special holiday and as my main camera, an excellent purchase, and it can also can use Canon EF/s lenses with the Canon lens adapter. I primarily use the camera as a note book for illustrations and family photos etc, for me, a good all round camera.

With mirrorless camera prices still being ridiculous I’ll stick with used Nikon DSLRs and the bath of used lenses that are out there right now. I don’t see any advantage to mirrorless with the subjects I photograph.
