Find Absolute Extrema of Function on Closed Interval | Calculus 1

preview_player
Показать описание
We find the absolute extrema of functions on closed intervals by finding critical points and evaluating the function at its critical points and the endpoints of the domain. The smallest of these values is the minimum and the greatest value is the maximum. We know an absolute maximum and an absolute minimum will exist for a continuous function on a closed interval by the Extreme Value Theorem. #calculus1 #apcalculus

Could you please make a video for the following question? Compute f * g for N = 7 and polynomials f = x^4 + 4x^3 - 2x - 1 and g = 2x^4 + 5x^2 - x. Thanks in advance.
