Least risky trade i've ever seen. KAT > Randle and because they already have Bridges moving Donte is fine. It's mind boggling people don't understand this. This is an absolute no-brainer, huge upside trade for the Knicks.

As a wolves fan I’m stoked with this move. Kat is so soft man. Good luck trying to win a chip with someone like that. I think New York is gonna eat him up. Wolves are the huge winner of this trade just by getting rid of that terrible contract.

I like the wolves with Randle and Gobert! Don't sleep on Randle. He is a bucket! He's tenacious and a decent defender. WOLVES get a first round pick as well. Wolves got better

As a Wolves fan, it hurts to see KAT leave it’s like I grew up with him ever since he was drafted. He was solid 3pt shooter for us and him leaving can affect our 3pt offense. Though, Ant can get more touches now and the bench is even better now which why I think we won the trade.

As a New York native who has lived most of his life in Minnesota, I’m a huge fan of both teams and follow them closely.

At a base level, I think this trade makes sense. The Knicks had a serious deficit at Center after Hartenstein signed with the Thunder. Also with Kat’s max contract kicking in, and all the draft picks traded away in the Gobert trade, the Wolves had zero flexibility for years to come. You could also argue that the Wolves maxed out their potential last year, and the competition in the league is only getting stronger.

I hope I’m wrong, but ultimately I feel like this is a lose-lose trade. I think every single player involved will play worse on their new team, and will have a negative effect on the current team chemistry which has been a strength for both teams. I don’t think this is a good fit for anyone.
