Mustang Mach-E | Awful Or Wonderful ?

For the first time in 56 years, Ford is expanding the Mustang lineup with the all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV joining the sports coupe, convertible and special editions. Mustang Mach-E embodies the Mustang spirit from its sleek silhouette and muscular curves to exhilarating drive experiences that offer unique driving dynamics and sounds. The Mustang Mach-E all-wheel-drive system can apply torque independently to the front and rear axles to deliver impressive acceleration and improved handling over the rear-wheel-drive model. Ford tuned this system to provide excellent traction on the road, rigorously testing the vehicle in wet and snowy terrain to help control slippery conditions. In addition, the Mustang Mach-E is the first production vehicle to be tuned by the Ford Performance team utilizing Ford’s racing simulator in North Carolina. The team has integrated e-drive propulsion, all-wheel-drive calibration, and brake control in a way that optimizes fine motor skills to enable immediate response in low-traction conditions and ensure the performance expected from Mustang even in the snow. answer is it fkn sucks.

currently stranded because the phone key doesn’t even work. the one day i forgot the fob and wanted to rely on the phone key and of course today it decides not to work.
our tesla phone key does wonders as long as the app is running in the back ground u have total access to all parts of the tesla from charging, starting the car, unlocking and locking. while on the mustang u have to click each button to do a single function like start the car?? and it requires you to use the fob key at least two separate events to start the car using your phone key… WHY?! then the bluetooth doesn’t connect. then it wants u to restart the car and relogin. then it wants u to hold down the button and then push the car ignition and STILL DOESNT WORK!

im understanding that electric is a whole new concept to car companies but this was not what my family was expecting. the car itself isnt that good either. it has no ability to control slow down when releasing the “gas”/power. it’s practically an emergency stop. so cars behind me will honk for “trying to break check” them and im like no sorry my car just “slows down” like that. especially for big trucks behind me that can be very dangerous. it should be able to roll! even in its lightest setting it slams the break with out touching the breaks! the controls on the screen are so disorganized that its actually dangerous to use while driving. and the screen touch is so bad that it doesnt catch your finger touching it so u have to repeatedly keep trying to push the button until it works! the shift is a circular and doesnt stop turning so i have to look at it to make sure it on the right gear instead of just a different design?? why does it keep turning for a stick shift? this car over all is an entire safety hazard. ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the money. such a difficult car to drive. if you can even get it to start that is.

if u have the key fob yeah itll get you to place A to B. but don’t bother touching the screen once your driving.

I wish i had never bought one. Very unreliable, as I write this, it is in the garage and the transmission is locked in park waiting for a tow to the dealership. Save yourself lots of grief and consider another choice!

It’s ugly, not a mustang, lacking horsepower and short of miles I wouldn’t even consider this embarrassment. also ive been a mustang guy all my life and had one over 1200hp. there will be a time
when you cant pay your taxes or caught speeding they will shut all access down. ev's are open to all fed control.

Ford badged it a Mustang for two reasons. First, Ford wants to sell alot of them. Second, the Mustang competes with Tesla Model Y, so Ford does so with its coolest brand.

I've wanted a 5.0 Mustang since before I could drive but never got one. Now that I've got a family, a Mustang GT doesn't work for me but the Mach-E is perfect and solves my problems of a performance car with the Mustang badge and I can still haul around the family with our dog in the back.

It's a good first stab at EV by Ford. It needs to improve though. Much of it is simply assembled from the parts bin. They need to design and manufacture more cohesive systems in order to compete with the others, namely Tesla.
