Something nearly all the reviewers missing: It's a 28W APU, which can go up to 54 (in other systems), asus has restricted it here to 28 watts, because they wanted to go slim. But this thing has actually a loooot more performance if a manufacturer would use it the right way. Asus offers the lower priced new vivobook 14, 15 and 16 with a full 54w Ryzen 9 AI HX 370. So, that would be interesting.

We bought an Asus laptop several years ago and they had a firmware update which resulted in the fans running full blast after a few minutes. Asus knew about the problem but they never fixed it. I have an Asus motherboard that I bought in 2020 and it doesn't have a setting for TPM 2.0 which means that I can't run Windows 11. I have been trying to find a way around this and continue to look for one. I am unimpressed with Asus for long-term support of their products. Long-term being over a year. Apple had problems with their 2016-2020 MacBooks and they did have recalls for various problems; but they appear to have fixed them with the 2021 MacBook Pro and the Apple Silicon MacBook Air starting with the M2 line. I think well of Razer laptops though they got pretty noisy the last time I tried them. I do not know if they are going to launch ARM versions. I also have a good impression of Lenovo products as a lot of companies buy them. I used to prefer Dell but they've had their problems over the years.
