In this video, I show you how I scored above 700 in my GMAT exam with only 3 weeks of preparation. I needed the GMAT for my Finance Master at the London School of Economics (LSE) and later my INSEAD MBA. I show you what exactly I did to prepare myself for the GMAT exam. The video also reviews GMAT preparation material, such as books from Manhattan GMAT and Kaplan GMAT, as well as the GMAC Official GMAT Guide. I show you how I achieved GMAT above 700, my very personal GMAT 700 strategy. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for application to many leading MBA programs. Especially the GMAT quant 700 to 800 questions were though for me. The quantitative section contains problem solving and data sufficiency questions. The verbal section contains reading comprehension, critical reasoning and sentence correction questions. In addition, the GMAT also has an intergrated reasoning and analytical writing assessment section.

I think the most valuable thing I've taken out of the first 60 seconds of this video is this man's EPIC accent!

It's great that you mentioned that we should still think of the GMAT as something fun! Definitely a great mindset tip I'll adopt while I study :)

I taught for Manhattan and wrote/edited The Economist GMAT questions, so I’m glad some of my materials helped you.

I only did 2 practice books for integrated reasoning. And got 720. It really depends on what one’s strength or weakness is. For me math was like middle school level difficulty but reasoning was tricky so I used LSAT questions to prep which made GMAT questions appear so much easier.

Why there are dislikes? The guy is simply explaining what to do and how to do it?

Hi Heinrich,
Thank you so much for your video. I just decided I wanted to do the GMAT and went all over the Google, Youtube, IG, to find a good start to finish explanation for it, by far this video was the best.

What im doing for the gmat is follow a 8 week study plan, and since I'm just like you (I'm not able to fully concentrate to study after work) I decided to change my routine. So I study from 6am to 9am every week day, which makes a more sense to me. I can learn much better at time time. I feel that these 3h in the morning are better than 5h I'd get in the end of the day. On the weekends I study 5h or 6h a day.
And to add on that I took 10 vacation days leading up to my gmat date, so I can focus to study full-time. Wish me luck, my exam date is 21/10/2020 📚🤓
By the way, I'll be applying to schools in Germany (ESMT, hhl and WHU), so I'm aiming 650 on the gmat 😊

Amazing. Didn‘t believe that someone can make it into Harvard with a GMAT of only 590. This is very impressive. Do you have any glue how this guy accomplished this?
