advice: do practise questions in a library where you have distractions. I struggled with focus during my real exam, cuz I only studied in my quiet room

I managed a 780 on my first attempt and created a Youtube channel and GMAT playlist to give away my best tips. Let me know what you think!

Very good tips, thank you. QUESTION, you mentioned "missing 7 questions" across verbal and quantitative. I was wondering, when you miss the question (i.e. leave unanswered), does the next question get easier, harder or stays at the same level as the one you didn't answer? Essentially, if you don't know the answer and you feel as if you are wasting too much time on particular question, is it better to GUESS or DO NOT ANSWER at all? Thank you.

So, in terms of be realistic, do you mean "know your intellectual bounds?" Or are you saying don't expect to crack a 700 if you only study five hours a week?

The most important tip for me would be “Prepare for test day not just the test”

So does this mean, it's better to answer all the questions even if you don't know the right answer? Does GMAT give minus score on every wrong answer? Please please reply. thanks

As you said that you missed 7 questions and still managed to score 770. By saying missing, do you mean that you guessed a choice or did you just missed the questions?

Thank you for these tips. I have been preparing for the GMAT for the last few months, and your point on Reviewing > Drilling really struck home with me. While I was able to identify some trends in my mistakes in the quant sections, unfortunately, I am failing to come up with any such pattern on my mistakes in the Verbal sections. There are certain practice tests where I do really poorly on SC, but in certain others on RC. Would you be able to suggest some framework to analyse my mistakes and try and decipher something?
