It's really not common I find someone who has a similar appreciation for Getting Over It. Online people only seem to care about it's difficulty rather than how incredibly well made it is both in it's controls, artstyle and writing. I'm glad more games like it are being made.

This is basically Peaks of Yore: Ultimate Rage Edition. If you don't know, Peaks of Yore is a mountain climbing game that is in 3D, not 2D, in which you control each arm and your legs. It is not a rage game, but I definitely recommend checking it out. If you have a short temper, it can be frustrating, but you have some tools that can help and the game is generally not very angering, more just frustrating and immensly satisfying when you pass a difficult part.

7. summit (gimmick: ice physics, psychological manipulation- crippling fear of failure)

I like to believe that the guy from this game is paraplegic and trains to have herculean upper body strength to make up for it, kinda like how daredevil can’t see so he compensates by having superhuman hearing. That’s why he was in a pot in the first game, and why he can only use his arms in this game.

4:18 I dunno, I’ve made my own theory on this game, and I think you were left for dead in the ocean after escaping, and being caught again by cultists (explaining why you only have underwear and your legs don’t work, broken by the members of the cult after you escaped). The only way to safety is climbing up this giant mountain, that has relics of an old society across it.
