by this, hes saying it's the struggle of climbing the mountain which you find enjoyment in, even if you don't see it yourself, finishing the game ceases that struggle, if you choose to ride the snake, you can start over, you know you can make it back through enough effort, you've done it before, so it shouldn't be angering to lose that progress, but enlightening to the philosophy that Bennet illustrated throughout the climb
