I was just diagnosed with Narcolepsy type 1 a gew days ago, but i feel like that answered all my questions because i went 3 years of just blacking out and i had no idea what it was but i had figured it was because i was always tired. I was also told that during my nap studies i was feeling asleep under 4 minutes each time

I have type 2 narcolepsy and it sucks 😭 8 hours will feel like I slept for 8 minutes 😅

I've experienced narcolepsy and sleep paralysis, but don't regularly experience them. I think im type 2 but still have no idea. The first medication i was prescribed, cataplexy was supposed to be a side effect and i experienced it a lot when i was on it. This was like 10 years ago, i don't remember which one it was.
