Big ups from a fellow Dyspraxic! It's so true that more people need to know about Dyspraxia - if knowledge about it was commonplace, we and all those we interact with would find it so much easier to deal with.

I've never let Dyspraxia stop me. Playing sport people would 'abuse' me for dropping the ball etc. People get dyspraxia and dyslexia confused too much and I think that's what hurts the most.

More people need to learn about dyspraxia, any time I told people I had it when they asked me why I was so bad at sports they would always respond with something along the lines of “just because your dyslexic dosnt mean you can’t do sports, stop being lazy” and when I explained that it’s different from dyslexia and what it is they said I made it up and it’s just an excuse. It doesn’t help that I’m autistic so I’m just generalised as the stupid lazy one. Schools need to teach this stuff more

It took doctors and my parents 15 years to realise that there was something different and I was diagnosed at 15 even though I was showing signs of Dyspraxia from a very young age. The thing is, I still don't know what it fully is but I'm learning and very happy to know that I'm not just clumsy and stupid (which is what I had been thinking for my whole life up until I got diagnosed)

Thanks for spreading the awareness, it's a class topic and I wasn't aware of this condition at all.
Don't let anyone to put you under any label, as long as you want it, you ought to yourself to make the best out of you.

Brilliant - nice one Abi! As a parent of two Delightfully Dyspraxic children, I have been thinking of how we can get more people to understand the condition. This is perfect. Thank you.

Hi Abi I love the way you have done this video, I am a dyspraxic 16 year old that has the same problems as you. I am always falling over thin air and instead of falling into doors it is mainly dustbins and signs that I always fall over, lol, I have been asked to do a Presentation for my English Project, and I chose to talk about Dyspraxia, and this is the perfect video for me to use. Before I saw this video I felt like I was the only one to have this condition that never goes away, and after watching this video I feel that I can do whatever I want to do with my life and i can achieve it,  thanks so much you have inspired me Annie

I wasn't diagnosed with Dyspraxia until the age of 20, along with being extremely clumsy and unorganised i often found I would become very annoyed with myself on a day to day basis when trying to carry out simple tasks. even though i still suffer from all of the above discovering I had the condition has changed my life and i only wish i had found out sooner. This video was very inspiring and should be shown to all young people!

I'm 14 and I only got diagnosed recently. It's such a hard thing to deal with. I was dealing with something hard without even realising it. I was late to primary school everyday got picked last all the time for football, I only learned how to tie my laces when I was 12 and had only learned how to ride a bike at 11. I'm not sure if that's exactly late to others. I always thought I was a bit slower than others and I wish it had been recognised sooner so I could have known growing up when u was much younger and didn't feel so bad about myself. Really appreciate this video and I want to try and spread as much awareness as possible. ^-^

I've been diagnosed but knowing all about it, it makes much more sense. My school know and they don't help they just treat me like I'm worthless. If only more people knew about it then maybe they might stop bullying me. I'm going to share this on Facebook to get the news around. Mums been really helpful and supportive and I think she secretly always thought I had it but only searched for help when it got bad. This helped a lot, thanks!

I agree with 100% of what you said and I do have dyspraxia but I don't let it affect me in any way, although it unfortunately does.
