Have you ever thought about what it could be like to have dyspraxia? This study aimed to explore this question. Dyspraxia typically impacts motor and coordination abilities, leading to issues like dropping or damaging objects. While it's possible to improve coordination skills with dyspraxia, the condition does not simply go away by practicing more.

🙋🏼‍♂️ My name is Arije, and I am a dyslexic with an MA in Education Studies. I aim to share all my tips for learning, coping, teaching, and more on my channel. For dyslexics, educators, and parents alike, I want to make videos that inform and inspire you to reframe dyslexia.

My partner recently discovered they have dyspraxia, and it's people such as yourself who are raising awareness for these conditions that make my partner and I feel less alienated from the world. I appreciate this access to materials so I can learn how to better support my partner, realizing all of these "clumsy" things they do that they have a great difficulty controlling has made me stop saying they try harder to be more spatially conscious. Invisible disabilities like dyspraxia should gain much more awareness, I think the world would greatly benefit from understanding that some people just need others' patience to get through daily tasks. I had no idea I had the disabilities I have, I've been a lot more patient with myself.

The best way for me to describe how it feels is like you’re playing a video game for the first time, you can do things… but you have no idea how

Hmmm, interesting, definitely the first 2, maybe the 3rd one, but I have become a very careful person, trying to see the breaking incident before it happens and take precautions to not let it happens. I didn't think I had this but they all fit... yay!😅😅😅

When I was a kid it was taking me forever to get dressed in the morning. My parents asked my doctor about it (after finding out I had Dyspraxia but they didn’t fully understand it yet.) the doctor told them something I will never forget. Imagine trying to get dressed but you forget how to put on your pants. That happens every day morning to your son.
