Russia reviles Ukraine over Dnipro strike at UN after ex-Zelensky adviser's explosive admission

Russia, Ukraine a fierce faceoff over a Dnipro missile blast reaches the United Nations. Moscow accused Kyiv of violating international humanitarian law after at least 45 Ukrainian civilians died in the Dnipro missile explosion. The Russian Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that a Russian missile that targeted an energy facility was downed by Ukrainian air defences. He added that since this air defence system was positioned in a residential quarter, contrary to humanitarian law, the missile fell onto a residential building. He also said that "had the Ukrainian authorities complied with international law, this tragedy would have never happened." On January 17, Volodymyr Zelensky's senior adviser, Aleksey Arestovich, resigned. Aleksey Arestovich's resignation came after he publicly admitted that a Ukrainian anti-aircraft system shot down the Russian missile that landed on the Dnipro apartment. Watch this report for more.

Ukraine doesn't even know which side they are bombing. Just throwing bombs around aimlessly even into neighbouring countries. They don’t even know when they bombed another country, Russia has to tell them.

Rationally, why would Russia attack residential apartment with no value toward its military objective. Every missile is expensive at least around $500k. Therefore Russia will use each of every missile to destroyed a very significant value towards its military goal, which is to force Ukraine to surrender and end the war as soon as possible. Destroying electric and water supplies infrastructure is one way to make Ukrainian surrender. US and Nato did the same thing when they invade Yugoslavia, Vietnam and Iraq. When in war everything is done to end it as soon as possible, reduce cost and casualties.
