I bet Leonardo living in modern days would be someone severely depressed, socially isolated (which he already was during his lifetime) and possibly even addicted to harmful substances/behavior.

ADHD was first described in a medical context in 1775, it's not made up by modern pharmaceutical companies even if the might take advantage of it.

I have adhd. I'm into stuff that's subjective has infinite possibilities and doesn't have a right or wrong answer art music food etc. I feel when I finish something like a song it's almost like the possibilities become finite.

What about a high IQ instead of ADHD? People with a high IQ also have many different interests, or 'diversive curiosity' as you call it, but they often don't finish projects because they lose interest.

Based on what I’ve read on da Vinci, he had an incredible ability to focus and observe natural phenomena in an attempt to understand how things work. It seemed he was more interested in learning and understanding rather than completing objectives. I don’t think this guy is really looking at the whole picture with his adhd hypothesis.

Hi, I’m an astrophysicist which means I can’t speak about ADHD with any authority whatsoever. But I read some shit online about ADHD, so here’s my anecdotal case for why Leonardo DiVinci had ADHD because, y’know every disability is secretly a superpower like in Rainman

Many people have attention deficit. It very subjective, not black and white. For a very small group it affects their lives and their behaviors so drastically that it has to be addressed and treated. I think it is safe to say we will never know if DaVinci had "ADHD". He like most artists and geniuses are eclectic and was probably not satisfied with anything other than perfection - thus the reason why he didn't finish many of his paintings. The short video implies that there was "something wrong" with him - nope - millions of people have deficient attention spans, whether DaVinci did or not he was one of the greatest minds the world has ever known.
