Fine Flax Fiber

Today I ran a bunch more of my new retted flax through my cane crusher and tightened the springs to be sure I get a real good crush. I think I had it a little loose. It now crushes much better. That will make it easier to break out the core now that it is really squished. I will then scutch it with my new scutch knife then hackle it and put it on one of the spinning wheels to do a sample. I had forgotten to take my sample of Yucca Fiber that I want to run through my hackle. The hackle is at the studio. I'll be going there early in the morning to take care of some business.
