Wow, I'm so glad Bo picked both sports and we got to see this man show off his incredible talents. What I like most about Bo? Here is a man, that's probably the greatest athlete ever, and he was humble and kind. I think, for those who know him as a friend, probably say he is a great friend. Thanks for the memories Bo, we appreciate you as an athlete and as a good person.

BO Jackson is the only athlete I can remember that was
as popular as Jordan growing up. the Bo Knows campaign
was EXTREMELY popular.

1:11 Deion Sanders being stiff armed to the ground if you haven't seen the clip before. He did an interview about this play. Only person who could have kept up with Bo speed wise during those days

@mikem987: Football is what took him out of both sports... It would have been impossible for him to sustain the same injury if he had just stuck with baseball.

Regardless, Bo is still a legend... We'll be hard pressed to see anyone like him again.

How lucky were we to be able to see Bo Jackson and Micheal Jordan... It’s to hard to describe it to my son.

He was and is the greatest athlete I ever saw. Even to this day. I can't tell you if there's another person that had the combination of size, speed, quickness was just incredible. Every time he touched the ball, swung the bat or three the baseball something special could have happened.

The greatest to ever play.. The last 20 secs of this literally brings a tear to my eye, every time I see that tackle I cringe.. The NFL rushing record would definatley belong to Bo had he not got hurt.. NUFF SAID!

Could u imagine him with Dallas when they had the great line??
He would have gotten 3 thousand yards

@mmcneil777 It could also be argued that if he never played football, he may have gone to the Baseball HoF. He was just that good... He paved the way for Deion, Brian jordan, and Michael Jordan to all try their hand at two sports.
An athlete like no other.

Bo said in a recent interview that he had decided, after discussing the situation with his wife, that he was going to just play that one more season in the NFL anyway. So injury or not, he was determined to leave the NFL. But while he was playing, he was the most incredible athlete we've seen.

The man could make a cut and still be moving the same speed. Unreal.

Did I hear that guy from the Heisman award ceremony say that Bo won the award "in the closest vote in history" ?
I would absolutely LOVE to know who DIDN'T vote for Bo, to shame them for all eternity!😁

One thing though... If we're being honest, Bosworth didn't stop Bo, but he didn't bounce off him either like so many others did. (And, no, I am not from Oklahoma.)

The 4 most naturally gifted athletes of the 20th century were Bo, Wilt, Babe, and Thorpe.
