My Bo story. I was in Newark, trying to get to Portland OR. Only flight open was to SFO, first class. So I paid the extra $$, and lo and behold, Bo sat next to me. I recognized him, and said how much of an influence he was on my youngest son, also a 2-sport athlete. Very cordial, and we talked for most of 5 hours. He signed my ticket, and exchanged cards. He asked if I had a hotel, and I said I was connecting. Ran into him again, as he was with the Sox then. An amazing gentleman.

Bo is no doubt the greatest athlete in the history of mankind, and I was fortunate enough to watch him play both football and baseball live and in person. I later meet him in nightclub in 1993 and we shot a game of pool. He was just as cool as a man as he was great as a player.

There is nothing sad or missing or lost from Mr. Vincent "Bo" Jackson. Bo knows Bo and we all were lucky to be here at the same time.

It’s such a shame that the world missed out on what probably would’ve been the greatest sports career of all time. A very possible 2 sport HOFer. What he did in 5 years is really pretty remarkable. The fact that his legend lives on today the way it does shows the impact he had. Likely the greatest athlete the world has ever seen.

Jackson was coming up when I was a kid and he really was the greatest athlete on the planet. Before social media, Facebook, Twitter, there wasn’t a person alive that didn’t know who Bo was.

I'm a life long Bo fan,
to hear prime time neon Dion say that without Bo there be no Prime Time, given Dion Sanders show boat attitude, was awesome to hear....

A few years back I came across this documentary called " You Don't Know Bo" I'm not American but my general knowledge is wide and varied - not knowing and never heard of this person - I watched it over and over again - mind blown the first time and immediately recommended it to family and friends. I sat and watched this in awe.
I remember that innocuous challenge that popped his hip and how he popped it back by rolling on it - Mrs Jackson did not give birth to an earth child !!

i seen him play at fenway park... the man hit a line drive to straight away center field ...it hit the T.V camera platform and was still rising ...unbelievable ! also in the same game i've never seen a player get down the first base line as fast as he did...the greatest athlete of all time in my opinion...my personal favorite...he was a must watch...i'm not a raiders fan at all ( PATS FAN) but i didn't miss a raiders game when he was playing.

BO was an amazing man. The drive and determination was legendary. But the size, speed, power and GOD given ability are unrivaled. Rumor has it he has a small indentation on the back of his head. They say that's where GOD took his finger and pushed his soul into the world.
