Just got to Cancun yesterday. When we got to Atlanta, they told us anything on wheels had to be checked (meaning carry-on’s). We waited a while at baggage claim. My brother booked transportation through a company he had used before, who were wonderful. We went through the shark tank and my husband and brother-in-law were walking behind everyone else and someone tried telling them, they couldn’t take our luggage cart outside. They almost fell for it, when the person started asking many questions. Thank god I was able to convince them to keep walking, where there were many luggage carts outside.

Just booked my trip to Unico 2087 for next week, and I’m also in the process of booking my transportation with Nacho Tour due to your recommendation. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 they will be as good as you say. I was going to use Canada transfers but decided on Nacho.

I can provide info on the Egate QR code because ours worked. When we first arrived and attempted the Egate they had been blocked off as we were told they they were out of order. We asked if we could try anyway as the regular line was long and it did work for us. The day before we returned home I scanned the QR code ans what it was a PDF document called "Forma Migratoria Multiple" It should already be filled out with identification, airline flight info, stay length and such. I saved a copy of it on my phone. My traveling partners did not do the QR code but when we checked in for our flight the attendant scanned them the emailed the form to them. No one asked us for the QR code slips or the forms but we had ours readily available. Better safe than sorry to have them handy.

In Cancun right now. The Delta app is saying the wait for checked luggage is up to 90 minutes.

Another report--I flew back from Cancun today. No signage or questions about Visitax was evident. Of course, I didn't check luggage, but everyone who didn't was interviewed at the gate. They still don't have it figured out.

not sure if you can answer this- we've used USA Transfers for years but their prices keep going up. We usually go to either the Hotel Zone or Playa Mujeres and pay around $100 each way. We are planning a trip in March going to the Westin in the Hotel Zone, then moving to Secrets in the Hotel Zone. Is Nacho Tours less or more expensive? Just need a ballpark idea of price-if it's about the same or less we will consider switching to Nacho. There are two of us. Thanks

FYI. The Cancun Sun is reporting they are stepping up enforcing the visit tax and stopping visitors as they depart Cancun. It's easy to pay online in advance. They email you a QR code.
