Would a failed temp sensor cause the coolant fan not to turn on ? . My gauge works fine but the coolant fan doesn't kick on when the thermostat opens or is it common for the 2.4L coolant fan not to turn on?. Matter of fact both coolant fans come on when I switch over to AC but either 1 comes on when the thermostat opens and the gauge is in normal reading .

Thank you for your videos but it would help if you would also do a video on the V6 model of those years...completely different locations for some of the sensors. Thanks.

Will a bad coolant sensor cause the transmission not to engage into overdrive in my 2000 Lexus ES 300?

Is the coolant temp sensor the same as the radiator temp sensor? So two locations?

While I was replacing my coolant sensor, it broke and fell into the engine, how can I get it out or would it damage my engine

Before changing any part give it a little clean ..by using crc electronic cleaner and let it dry for 3 minutes and apply crc dielectric grease for sealing and good conductivity.. in my case coolant temp sensor was causing rough idle and poor gas mileage instead changing i tried cleaning and greasing..and miracle happened i got good mpg and nice idling..

Thanks for the video. On the other hand, my 01 Camry, has both cooling fans on all the times. I replaced the same one you replace, because it has a broken wire but the fans still come on all the times. Is there another temp sensor that screwed into at the bottom of the radiator? Thanks

I have a P0128 code for 05 murano, it’s a thermostat related issue. It takes a little too long for the car to reach its maximum temperature, because the thermostat stuck open. Does this cause the car to burn extra fuel? I noticed the car has burned extra fuel...

Does that tell the fans to come on? Or is it the one on the bottom of the radiator? Thanks

Both of the radiator fans stopped working on my 2000 camry CE. We thought it may have been the coolant temp sensor, since the fuse behind the change drawer and relays worked. It was actually the COOLANT FAN SWITCH with two prongs that is located at the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side.

Hello, excuse my English, my camry 3vz-fe 3000cc has a flaw. The cold start injector does not inject (only with direct current) the temperature gauge needle, it goes up when I accelerate, the 3 temperature sensors have anything to do with this? Thank you

What problems will occur when the Coolant Temperature Sensor is bad? Will affect the cooling fans not to work?

What tool do I need to remove the coolant temperature sensor from my 2003 Ford expedition XLT, 4.6

I have a 96 camry. The temp sensor appears to be the left one, unless previous owner mixed them up. The right one is for the temp gauge.

Good video and instructions but one thing would make it better. Camera should have started with a wider view of the engine and then zoom in to the area where the sensor is. That would give the viewer a better sense of where it is. At this point I'm not sure if the camera was in front of the engine or on left or right side so I cannot easily tell where the sensor is. It also would be nice if they would have said if that is the 4-cylinder or the V6 engine.
