Asiana 214 was a boeing 777-28EER that was 7.4 years old at the time of a crash. It was delivered to Asiana on march 7, 2006. It registered as HL7742. It was coming from Incheon international airport. It was landing at runway 28L at 11:21 A.M. The airline only taught the pilots about the auto-throttle correction but not that it was disabled on some modes. The crew thought it was always on, so they paid less attention to it. They were landing at a time where the human body wants the most rest, and functioned worse. They realized they were too low and slow too late, and tried to do a go-around but crashes the plane. Out of the 307 people on board, there were 3 deaths. 2 of them were from the crash. One girl was lying near the wing, and a firetruck ran over them and killed them. There were 187 injuries and 49 of them were serious.

I'm a Ukrainian soldier who is deaf. And I lost my friend on the plane that crashed on the land. He was a saudia Arabian soldier who was also my stepfather. He was returning home from a visit to his father who served with the United states during the war in Afghanistan. He was a Translator for the Americans. Now hes in a better place. 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤ RIP to all who died on this plane. And all who died on all planes. 😢😢😢

Update: I found out from my American counterparts that there was 2 planes with the same name crashed landed in 2 different countries, this plane was a airliner, and the second crashed in Siberia in the mountains, both caused by the same thing,

My martial arts teacher was on this flight. He got out and was helping the rescuers with everything, and got interviewed on the news. They got lucky they weren’t sitting in the very back.

Ten years ago today, on July 6, 2013, an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 arriving from Seoul, South Korea crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport. The plane, Asiana Flight 214, had 307 passengers on board. Three Chinese teenagers who were aboard the plane were killed in the crash.

fact: when i went to america (im australian) for the first time after heading to alaska, i got on an alaskan air plane and flew to san francisco, landed at sf international on the same runway as asiana 214. Except this time i actually made it safely
