Fix 100% Disk Usage in Windows PC

Windows PC becomes slow over time because in most cases it's because of the disk usage reaching 100%, and Windows starts to feel sluggish, slow and unresponsive. But today I think I have found a solution for this and I might never have to reinstall Windows in every few months.... And please share your experience related to this issue in comments....

Sir, I had found a possible solution to this. And it worked for me and all the devices I tested on. The method is this: when Windows is installed again, before installing any other type of software, open Microsoft Defender and enter ransomware protection and turn on the option called 'Controlled Folder Access'. As a result, if you want to take write access to any useless service cdrive, you will notify. And you can't write it unless it's allowed. That's how I solved the problem. Special note: Of course, this must be done in newly installed or reinstalled Windows. In this way, I installed once and ran it for 2 years without any problem or slow or lag.

Rather than showing your desktop on a different screen, show yourself inside the desktop. That would be easier to see.

this works,
after watching this video, i downloaded the apps, and test on my SanDisk 1TB:
- first test: SEQ read=474.17 MB/s, write=290.06 MB/s
I then did the defrag and test again:
- second test: SEQ read=447.69 MB/s, write=358.49 MB/s
I then run deep scan only and test again:
- third test: SEQ read=480.57 MB/s, write=432.86 MB/s

I have a HDD but this happens to me all the time (100% disk usage, file explorer and file saving freezes)

Looks to me like Windows might not be running TRIM commands correctly....

My disk speed is okay.... (between 0% - 2%). Read and write speed also similar (on benchmark)

I wish Windows has deep scan built in but defragmentation works but partially
Edit: Windows has temporary file cleaner and clean recommendations on the settings

ok i selected preview and said files to be deleted 7913, is this correct to have this many, i dont want to delete files i need, what do you think ?

This almost did not make a difference on my pc, I have a Samsung 980 pro, write speed should be up to 7000 it came in a 2831.67 using you method benchbit did not do much to change this
