yeah heres the thing: Olympus is supposed to follow whereever the greatest european civilisation of that time is. so it makes ZERO sense that during the american civil war in the 1860s, it would have been in america, BECAUSE THATS THE HAYDAY OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE! there is NO REASON for it to be in america at the time! ive always hated that bit

Well technically there’s 3 camps with Camp Fish Blood but I doubt any bipedal land dwelling heroes are ending up there so I guess we gotta hope Artemis is finding some of them or something

I like to imagine that there are other camps across the globe. And each have their own pantheon. But they don't know each other due to the mist. I am sure there would have been intermixing of the pantheons to an extent too. We think that Alexander the Great went into parts of North India so its possible that there are legacies with Hindu and Greek god descent. We know that Frank's family are of Roman and Chinese lineage so there is some evidence of inter mixing. And people migrate so deffo would be legacies and camps. The camps are just shrouded in mist.

Who knows, future books might examine this link and I think would make a great epic series if well written and there is no confusion.

random thought: what if more demigods mean more monsters? i assume gods can travel across the world, but let's assume mostly they are in usa, so there is the biggest number of their kids. because there are so many demigods monsters sense them easier and therefore are more likely to encounter in usa. maybe in different countries/continents there are less halfbloods or there are more scattered, which means they have less chances to meet a monster, so they don't have to train?
i recognise this is veeeery far-fetched, but hey, it is some sort of a concept hahah

I head canon that there were camps but as confirmed by Rick Mediterranean is where most monsters are active therefore being super dangerous for demigod Kids. I would think some lore would be that those camps over there were Destroyed by Monsters. Another head-canon I have is that Before Thalia become a tree as a barrier for
Camp. Britomartis nets and traps were made for the camp (camp halfblood) as security systems. I even have another head canon that Some camps that half type of halfbloods would Be like Enemies of Greeks and Romans. Like the Goths and Persians. (Is it ok to say it like that, is it wrong? I mean I wanted it historically accurate and only that so..Yeah. Also I’m not saying they’re evil too)

Paolo(?)’s defining character trait of not knowing English and being funny because of it does kinda show Rick’s age a bit, I did think he was funny but now that I think of it…..dude is just stuck in a dangerous camp and doesn’t speak the language anyone else does…I hope the other campers are his friends even tho he can’t communicate effectively. Where are the translators!!!

This opens up another can of worms; what of Greco-Roman demigods or legacies who are also descendants of other divine pantheon?😂😂 Cause we know the gods are aware of each other and the world is globalized (also demigods are present in other mythologies) so which pantheon claims those children? On the other hand I’m sure those situations are much rarer than the rare case of the Chase family where the kids, Annabeth and Magnus are children of the Greek and Norse pantheon respectively😅
