I loved reading about how YHWH literally fought alongside them with parting water, throwing hailstones, etc. He is a god of war and He fights for us. Amazing!

1:26 I just think the KJV text is so much richer and more beautiful:

6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We're saved by Faith alone; but Works determines our Heavenly rewards after we're saved:

This is very good and as a Christian I m in support. However...your post has omitted a key factor I feel. That the Lord instructed Joshua also take the land before them . How was this done ? Brutally in our eyes perhaps but with the Father's instruction. This is my understanding. The old Testament is often brutal as the Hebrews had to fight to establish or defend itself and .Joshua like David were fighters ordained by God in righteousness. This is my understanding.

2 Timoth 3 16 is a mistranslation. The word "is" is not present in the Greek. Do the math
