Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, whose father is given stewardship of the desert planet Arrakis (Dune). After the family Atreides is betrayed, and Dune is taken over by a rival family, The Harkonnens, Paul has to fight for his rightful place as the new Duke, and ruler of Dune.

This is a very good synopsis, though I'm fairly sure the 100th Slave Gladiator tournament took place on Giedi Prime and not Arrakis.

Went from Witch to Reverend Mother without explaining that they are the same thing, then use Bene Gesserit without any explanation as to what that is and how it relates to either the Witch OR the Reverend Mother.
