Love the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and tunnel! If you haven’t been on it thought, the first time can be a bit scary!

That's the bay tunnel or bay bridge-tunnel, it's at the mouth of the chesapeake bay and goes from Virginia to the eastern shore of Virginia. The bay Bridge is north near Annapolis going from Maryland to Maryland.

Lots of people have issues driving on them, there's even people you can hire to drive your car across for you. But the bay Bridge is suspended so high it wrecks a lot more people than the tunnel. I love it. Great views!

🚙I been driving across this Bridge tunnel since 2003 between VA beach & NYC. At 60mph on cruise control, I can clear the bridge-tunnel in about 17min🚙

That’s the bridge tunnel in Virginia. The bay bride is route 50 that connects the Maryland Eastern shore with the rest of Maryland

Montreal has one of those called The Louis-Hippolyte Lafontaine Bridge-Tunnel built in 1967.
I’ve traveled it many times. At one point, a none serious political candidate promised that if he’s elected he would drill holes in it and offer everyone free car washes. Honestly.
