In my case, everything works on the remote except voice control. When I try to enable Bluetooth on the TV, I get a generic error like "got an error when trying to enable bluetooth". The motherboard had to be replaced. I've noticed under Settings/System Info that the electronic serial number is blank and so is the Bluetooth ID. I suspect that's the problem. How do I load the ESN and the bluetooth ID?

Thank’s. Turned out my TV’s Bluetooth was off. And I just realized, to use the mic feature, the remote must connect to TV via Bluetooth

Tried this still not working, pressed the down volume button and held the mic button, light flashing but nothing seems to happen

The voice search is not working on YouTube and Play Store in my 55X8000H. When try to do a voice search on YouTube, I can see the mic LED turn on and off instantaneously and not picking up my voice to search. I tried unpairing the remote and turning the bluetooth on and off, nothing works.

My Sony TV has been buggy since I bought it. The software is terrible. It frequently loses WiFi connections, Google Assistant voice search never is recognized or doesn’t work at all. I’ve done numerous resets, changing batteries, etc.

Disappointing since I’ve been a Sony customer for 30 years.

Definitely not purchasing another Sony TV.

Had voice control on Sony TV. Did an update and now voice control no longer works

A restart worked for me by going into home, settings, device preferences, about, restart.

THis is the third time since I got this Sony KD-55x750F television last year that the remote has malfunctioned to the point it does not do 95% of its functions. The only thing that works is the google assistant mic button. Cannot navigate TV with that either. It wont turn on, you cannot navigate the menu, i cannot even change the channel or volume. These instructions are garbage especially since sony did not design the TV menu to work without the remote. Absolutely poor design. MY Samsung TV is 3 years old and to this day never stopped working and even so it had manual D-pad at the back of the TV to navigate the menu.
