Cook on cast iron, don't worry if it gets rusty after washing, it's even better to get more iron infused into your food. Shellfish and occasional grassfed beef and milk or butter from grassfed cows will add to antiinflammation effect.
I remember you told few years ago that cycling less made you faster. That time I added more time for recovery too and got faster as well.

The light headed feeling and weight gain tells me you were dehydrated. I have had the same problem.

Hello Danny, I am glad you are back.
As for the dizziness, I am having just the same problem.
If I am working something on the floor and after 5-10 minutes I stand up I am getting that feeling.
So what have you done to stop it?

I am old and tall just like you and in last 4 years since I am riding a bike I lost almost 20 kilos. But haven’t checked my weight for whole Summer, must check it to see if I get few kilos back or maybe not. Last time I was areound 76-78 kilos

Over three decades of mountain biking I've learned that the psychological aspect of the sport is as important as the physical.

If you have low fer level you should definitely look to take some supplements and do some blood test every now and then to check where it's at. Low fer level is a serious thing and can take up month or years to get back to normal level without supplements.
And you can buy your meat in a local farm and see how they treat their animals ect if you have problem with supermarket meat :).

If you decide to eat meat buy only grass fed grass finished beef, pork, butter, pasture raised eggs, etc. These animals live a normal life, not couped up in a cage or small area.

Meat is good for athletes. Lots of protein and iron which your body needs to maintain muscle and performance. Muscle = strength.

You are intelligent so try with strict carnivore diet then stop and go back to your précédent diet, you will find the middle point.
You make a terrific job💪 cycling, building your studio, YouTube and take care of your health...are you sleeping some time?
Have you noticed a change in your sleep with meat?
I don't know how you eat but get a max of the blood and juice it's have half the importance in meat.
Big up to you
