That was about the most information in the best format I have seen on YouTube. So many products, and the time stamps in your video description makes it super easy to go back and find a certain product you talked about. Yes, after this I feel much more confident applying Ceramic coating as well as what other products to use to keep that coating lasting longer and looking better. I have several more cars to Ceramic Coat, and I can't wait to get started!

So after watching this video AT LEAST 50 times I finally mustered up the courage to ceramic coat my car. Your tips tricks and techniques were so informative. I'll continue to watch your videos and have shared them with just about everybody I know. Pan is the Man 👊🏼

Pan, honestly this was such a great video. So detailed, thoroughly thought out. 🙏

I do feel a lot more confident attempting a coating.

I have clayed my car already and done a paint correction/machine polish a few weeks back. I might do another machine polish as I can see some minor swirls here and there. Is it okay if I do a final machine polish right before I apply the coating?

Finally - it sounds like graphine is the way to go as it’s more advanced. However, I am a newbie and this will be my first coating DIY. Are there any products you would recommend for me because it’s my first kick at the can?

Thanks again for your great content Pan! 😊🙏

Good tutorial Pan on ceramic/graphene coatings. In regards to stripping washes, one of the best stripping/paint prep/decontamination washes I have ever used is Griot's Foaming Surface Prep. That stuff works absolutely amazing and if you mix it at a higher dilution or use it full strength it works incredibly well at stripping off waxes and sealants to get the surface squeaky clean! Compared to Purple Power Vehicle and Boat Wash and Adams Strip Wash (which I also have) it is on another level. In fact, probably 2 to 3 levels above. You just have to wear nitrile gloves when working with it because it can chemically burn your hands at higher dilution ratios or full strength (I know, I did it to myself. Not crazy burns, but it did strip a surface level of skin off my palms so I am guessing it has a very high PH level). But gosh does that stuff work good as a stripping type of wash. Highly recommend that stuff for any stripping or decontamination wash.

Also, why are you bothering with paying more for 90% IPA when you're going to dilute it further? At that point just buy 70% alcohol and use less water.

Hi Pan I hope you see my question. Can I use the P&S beadmaker as a topper to an existing ceramic coat? Thanks!

Hi Pan! Do you know how long ceramic coatings are good for after opening the bottle. For example, can I open the bottle and use some one week, seal it, then apply the rest a few weeks later?

Fantastic job putting this together, I am a detail junkie on my car and truck and this is stepping my game up and I enjoy the detail work. It is almost therapeutic. Appreciate the lesson bud.

For reader information, i have used Cquarts UK, Gyeon Syncro, and 22ple HPC over many cars for many years. I would recommend 22ple HPC for the EASIEST to apply especially for beginners. The flash time for this one is very generous. UK one flashes very fast and a bit sticky. Gyeon one is the most finicky which requires many layers as well as extra buffing and exact timing.

Once again you knocked it out of the park! Great video Pan! I love that you mentioned longevity specific to conditions of where you live and how the vehicle is kept.

No need for fancy, overpriced soaps for the wash stage. Just use Dawn soap

Pan I get this question a lot. Can you still coat cars that have paint damage, deep scratches, rock chips, things of that nature? A lot of people think they need a new car or new paint job to do so.

Thank you for this instructional video. I've used iron remover, clayed, buffed out swirls and most scratches, and polished my car to a brilliant shine, due to your helpful videos. Now I'm going to apply ceramic coating, and will be using Avalon King, because of your recommendation.
This has been the first time I've gone so far into detailing any car, and I am now addicted!!
