I followed all the instructions here to try to down google sat imagery, and the resulting raster just looks like large cells of different colours, not at all like a satellite map. It doesn't matter which resolution I choose, it just takes longer to produce the same raster with just a few pixels... Can you help?

For me everything has been clear until the point when l need to use the processing toolbox. Guess iys a case of different versions of QGIS. I'm using version 2.18.4 please advise.... do l rastarize? What are the figures to be used or how do l proceed?

When I tried this method, qgis export an image that is a little bit larger at the bottom and right sides, and I can't fix that problem. So if there is someone who can figure out what can I do to solve this please

How can i know when was the data was updated? Can i get up-to-date data? Is there a way to get the data in the specific time range?
