I was expecting the Turbo to blow its doors off. The 1000ho held its own. I don't think the Turbo is worth the extra 7 grand after seeing this video.

I watched this video over a year ago and this video was a deciding factor in me purchasing a 2016 rzr 1000 non turbo. Just not worth the extra money for that little bit of speed

All of the RZR 1000 top out at 80. Just depends how quick they get there.

Always wondered how much quicker the turbo was. That works for me. They all top out at 80mph though for safety reasons.

I feel the only use for the turbo edition would be for dessert racing it would be pointless for off-roading in a park or something

The turbo version is 100% not worth the money unless you are deciding to mod it and get some tunes.

Funny because I now OWN a Turbo! I sold my 900 Trail and got the turbo. Aside from being way faster than the non turbo( especially in sand) the entire package is a nice upgrade over the regular xp1000. I'm loving this new Turbo. It's hard to judge until owning one!!

No such thing as a 1000 Turbo. Its only 929CC. A turboed 1000 is the ace in the hole Polaris is holding out on until its needed to top any competitors. I've heard rumors that it will go over 200hp easy.

The turbo would shine in the mountains with large elevation gains, If that's where you do most of your riding, but you're all right, other than having bragging rights, the difference isn't as much as I was expecting

The turbo' s power delivery isn't as hard on the bottom end as it is on the mid range to top end. And that's when it blew the doors off the regular xp1k. And I do believe that's the 130 hp turbo, not the 168 hp
