I live 8 hours from NYC in an apartment complex that accepts section 8 and HUD. People have been on the list for housing here for over 2 years. I personally know a few families that are in need of a home. This past spring there have been over 15 Latin American families, that have recently come across the border and move in! This absolutely does affect the housing crisis! In my county, my apartment building is only 1 of 2 that accepts low income families! I like my new neighbors but it really is not fair for the people who have to wait!

Wow!!! She lied at the beginning of this video saying nobody was fact checked. they fact checked JD Vance, at least three or so times but they did not fact check walls at all. With me being a black man, living near where Kamala Harris used to live at in East Oakland, California, I am definitely going to vote for Trump in 2024 👍🏿

Thank you to Julie-7605 for saying what I was trying to say in response that “Commodifying housing as stock has led to massive purchasing of housing by corporations thereby driving up housing prices;” & you said many of these houses are left unoccupied which further drives up housing prices & housing shortages; landlords are artificially driving up prices by creating a costlier market. I read somewhere that there are organizations that especially apartment landlords can pay to join which will help them determine what prices to charge for rent! Sounds like price fixing to me. Maybe realtors do that too for houses? Kamala needs to look into that urgently - & so should your CBS “fact checking” consider that as a major factor. More research is needed.
