Today Jazza and I collabed on what is probably my favorite to date - we created and painted 3D resin layered paintings where we used multiple layers of resin and painted each one until we made an epic 3d painting!

I used UV resin instead of epoxy resin because I didnt have time to wait between layers, it isn't perfect but if you have any tips leave them below!

This was so fun to watch! You did an incredible job, thanks for collaborating with me! BTW this is totally random, but your music choices in this video are almost all the same songs as my Tabletop Roleplay music lol

I’ve been fascinated by resin ever since I saw Nerd Forge’s video! I love your take on the theme, it turned out incredible 🔥🔥

I actually like how the edges look rigid bubbly and mishapen, it adds to the prompt. You did amazing and the final piece looks deteriorated and amazing! Like it’s been frozen in a block of ice!

This was SERIOUSLY cool. Such an impressive result and fascinating process. Just… wow!
Don’t tell Jazza I came to watch your video first 😜

Your piece is awesome. A simple tip for a mold is to use a silicone cake mold. Sit the silicone mold in a metal mold to make it rigid. Once you get the hang of things move one to bigger molds.

Doing an underwater scene was brilliant when youre expecting some unwanted bubbles in the resin!

When using UV resin you need a clear mold so the UV can penetrate the entire resin/mold, or, you'll end up with what you got, uncured resin at the bottom!

Resin release tip!
Packing tape! The mold will release every time and give you a great clear finish.
Gave Nerdforge the same advice and she used it for one of her potion bottles. Martina is on a whole other level though. I subbed when she started doing bookbinding videos and it just grew from there

Jazza’s collabing with everyone now, I just saw him collab with Rae! Amazing work, Chloe!

Also, imagine being able to do that… that’s amazing! I should honestly do that, but it’d have to be simpler since I’m not as good at painting… 😅

Neat. Can’t help wonder about a circular porthole version. One of my earliest memories as toddler is wandering deck of navy ship holding mom’s hand.

Your painting came out so amazing! I would love to do something like Nerdforge did with the miniatures in resin... but yes, the resin fear is real!!!😶

Use alcohol in a sprayers and use it over the resin, is amazing to get rid of bubbles. You can also use a heat gun and move it quickly over the resin, gets rid of bubbles quickly!!

I think the bubbles add a lot to the painting. They remind me of little drops of water flying everywhere after a wave crashes and that fits this painting perfectly.

Okay, I really like how the edge bubbles came out. Everyone always fetishizes the perfect clean edge look with resin pieces, which is admittedly highly satisfying, but it's not the only way to use the material, and the warped bubbly edge here also synergizes well with the intended theme.

To be honest because the resin is not perfect and a little milky in some spots it looks like the painting is in a block of ice wich is really fitting for the motive. I would say it adds to the piece.

CHLOE! This is so cool! I love how the resin really makes it feel like water. You did an AMAZING job. Also I love how you used a nail UV lamp haha. That’s some creative thinking! This is deff one of my favorite paintings you’ve made! 😍

I thought using the dish soap for the bubbles was such a clever idea! This looks SO GOOD!!
