The reality is that Hades will probably regain his power one day. He, unlike the other Olympians, learned to subsist on mankind's fears instead of their prayers. As they will always fear death, he will always have a place.

“Who knows...i may be stronger without it.”

Good line.

You know sadly this probably the closest we are ever going to get to a depiction of hades in movies that isn’t “evil”

You know the strange thing about gods being able to die, it is terrifying and also makes them seem more human

Hades was always meant to survive, he was the eldest god, his powers came from the fears of humanity and so his power will return in time. But if he took anything from the experience, I like to believe that hades let go of his hatred and cruelty and set about ensuring that all of that would never happen again.

At the end I really expected Perseus to offer some kind words to Hades, maybe tell him he'd be welcome in his home. They seemed to have come to some unspoken understanding in this scene, and mutual sympathy. It would have been a beautiful full circle kind of thing. Hades looks so broken by his brother's death, and he is Perseus' uncle after all. It would have been a cool parallel to the first movie, when Zeus offers Perseus sanctuary in Olympus, but this time Perseus offering Hades sanctuary among Men.

This scene in the movie really kicked me in the gut
Cuz the 1st plus the 2nd movie percus has lost his Birth Mother, Step Father, Sister, And Mother, and now his Birth Father Zeus, and his wife.

You can really see the change in Perseus over these 2 movies. From wanting nothing to do with Zeus to being heartbroken when he disappears.

They were like vampires, their dependency on power made them slaves to it. Its a good quote to end on.

It's almost a shame Poseidon wasn't there to see Hades and Zeus reconcile

I just realized that Liam and Ralph were also in Schindler's List.

I wonder when perseus said to zeus "perhaps hades can heal you" & hades was standing there wanting to save him, but he was waiting for zeus to ask...

imagine there was this god with machevlliian evil intent like Hades, and he lost all his power through a series of events so now all he has is subtle influences on men who already through their own choice choose to be evil...

Pretty much describes the world right now..

Seeing Zeus and Perseus is like giving Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan vibes

Anybody know why, in Clash of the Titans, Hades tells Perseus
“I am a god I will live forever” right before Perseus sends him to the underworld. So why then are the gods able to die in this movie??

I truly believe these events happened.
